Ready for Weather
Display returns from the Doppler-capable GWX™ 8000 StormOptix™ weather radar or GWX™ 75 onboard color radar that offer reliable solid-state designs as well as optional turbulence detection and ground clutter suppression capabilities. For a worldwide datalink solution, our GSR 56 datalink provides weather data and radar imagery with a subscription through the Iridium® global satellite network. The TXi display can display ADS-B “In” weather when connected with a compatible transponder. You can also install a GDL® 69A receiver with SiriusXM® to display satellite weather coverage — as well as listen to audio entertainment1.

Terrain Alerting
A built-in database depicts terrain and obstacles with color-coded 2D displays, while visual and audible alerts indicate when potential terrain conflicts loom ahead.
SafeTaxi Database
Upon touchdown, our built-in SafeTaxi diagrams help you navigate airport environments safely, with your aircraft position overlaid onto taxiways, runways, ramps and more.
Interactive and Informative Mapping
Get all your route information at your fingertips. Touch anywhere on the map to see your distance, bearing and time to that location — as well as its elevation and GPS coordinates. TXi also shows detailed surface features, cities, airports, SUAs and more on the dynamic map display by referencing built-in terrain, mapping and obstacle databases.
Video Inputs
Pair your compatible camera with multiple video input options that enable the TXi MFD to serve as a live-cam video monitor. It supports a variety of camera configurations and locations — enabling the MFD to function as a monitor for FLIR, tail-cam or other live video.
Safety-enhancing Features
Pair TXi with the GFC™ 500 or GFC 600 autopilot3 for overspeed and underspeed protection, a dedicated LVL button and Garmin ESP™ (Electronic Stability and Protection) safeguarding technology.
Compatible with Autonomí® Technology
When paired with a GTN™ Xi series navigator, the TXi display supports Smart Glide™ engine-out navigation functionality2. Once activated, Smart Glide recommends a nearby airport and creates a Direct-to route so you can land quickly. And for select piston twins, TXi with EIS capabilities enables Smart Rudder Bias in emergency engine-out situations when paired with the GFC 600 autopilot with the yaw damper option.
IFR Approach Capability and LOC Switching
Add LPV/LNAV/ILS approach capabilities when you pair TXi with select Garmin navigators (each sold separately), such as GTN 650Xi or GTN 750Xi. The TXi display also allows automatic GPS-to-LOC switching when paired with GTN or GTN Xi series navigators, which allow the GFC 500 or GFC 600 autopilot to fly complete ILS approaches.

Separate dedicated PFD controllers are available in five different control layouts for continuity with the specific autopilot system installed in your aircraft.

Pair your mobile device to your TXi flight display for simplified flight planning, database updates and more.

Pair with a GDL 60 or Flight Stream 510 interface to allow Connext wireless connectivity, and make true cockpit companions of your compatible mobile devices running the Garmin Pilot™ and ForeFlight Mobile apps — as well as compatible aviation portables — to create and update flight plans.
PlaneSync® Technology
With an optional GDL 60 datalink, automatically update your avionics databases4, log flight/engine data5, and remotely check fuel and systems status6 via your Garmin Pilot smart-device app.

Designed specifically for FAR Part 23 Class I/II aircraft (weighing less than 6,000 lbs).
G600 TXi
Designed for FAR Part 23 Class III aircraft (typically those weighing between 6,000–12,500 lbs).
G700 TXi
Meets Level A software assurance levels for Part 23 Class IV (MTOW more than 12,500 lbs) and Part 25 aircraft.
