Fuel Senders That Don't Touch the Fuel
CiES senders read the float position with a magnetic field sensor instead of a wiper running across a resistor. Nothing electrical sits in the fuel and nothing wears, so the gauge stays accurate long after a traditional sender has started to drift. Each sender is built to fit your specific aircraft.
They're approved for the engine monitors we install every week, including Garmin G1000, G950, G2000 and G500/G600 TXi, Dynon and Electronics International.

Non-Contact Sensing
A magnet at the float pivot and a magneto-resistive sensor measure the arm angle. No wiper, no resistor strip, no wear.
0.03 in Resolution
Detects fuel level changes as small as 0.03 inch, well under a tenth of a gallon.
90,000+ Hours MTTF
Mean time to failure above 90,000 hours, with more than 100,000 senders in service.
TSO C55a
Certified to TSO C55a and SAE AS405C, tested to DO-160F, DAL Level D under DO-254.
FAA, EASA and ANAC STCs
Installed under FAA STC SA02511SE, with EASA and ANAC STCs covering hundreds of aircraft models.
Built for Fuel
Hard anodised aluminium body with a Teflon coating and a 2011-T3 aluminium float arm.
Aircraft Covered
The STC covers replacement senders for Beechcraft, Britten-Norman, Cessna, Cirrus, Commander, Grumman, Lake, Maule, Mooney, Navion, Piper, Socata, Tecnam, Vulcanair and others, from the Cessna 172 and 182 through to the 300 and 400 series twins, the Piper PA-46 and the Cirrus SR20 and SR22. Approved sender and instrument combinations are listed per aircraft on the Approved Model List. We confirm the combination for your panel before ordering.
Installation
CiES senders replace the existing senders in the tank, and the indication is set up on the engine monitor. We install and calibrate them in our workshop at Lanseria, often alongside an engine monitor or glass panel upgrade, when the gauge wiring is already open.
