When combined with a Ray Allen indicators, this sensor can be used to measure the position of wing flaps, cowl flaps or many other mechanisms.
(NOTE: Ray Allen T2 and T3 servos have their own built in sensors.)

Description
This position sensor is most commonly used for measuring flap and cowling travel. The position sensor gets wired to Ray Allen’s RP3 indicator. However, if you are using a glass panel, this position sensor would be wired to the position sensors on your EIS module.

The Ray Allen POS position sensor provides a signal for a RP3 indicator or a glass panel display by means of a sliding arm.
The sliding arm is connected to a 0-5K ohm pot. Install the position sensor where the arm can travel just under its full length.
