Acoustic Noise Cancelling® (ANC) Mode Switch

Allows pilots to choose from three modes of noise cancellation to adjust the spectrum of “noise” they hear.

Bose noise reduction technology optimizes pilots’ experiences by fading background distractions. Reducing low- frequency noise allows users to listen to communication audio at lower, more comfortable modes.

Users can choose from three modes of noise cancellation. Low mode improves interpersonal communication outside the intercom. Medium mode is designed for typical jet aircraft, providing sufficient active noise cancellation for clear and comfortable radio communication.

Medium mode also meets the latest ARINC recommendation for noise reduction in jet aircraft. Finally, high mode provides a better experience in louder aircraft with Bose’s best intercom signal-to-noise ratio to date.

Active Equalization

Electronic circuitry automatically shapes and equalizes incoming audio signals.

Clean, fully optimized sound quality enhances intelligibility and clarity of intercom audio while still sounding natural.

Easily Replaceable Ear Cushions

Ear cushions easily detach and reattach.

Provides a more stable, comfortable fit and allows pilots to detach and reattach cushions for cleaning or to share headsets by quickly replacing cushions.

Electret and Dynamic Microphone Options

Noise cancelling microphone provides clear communication with reduced background noise. Electret and 5 ohm and 150 dynamic microphone options are also available.

Reduces background noise from loud environments in radio transmissions, enabling improved communications and intelligibility.

Power LED and Battery- Life Indicators

Lights indicate when noise cancellation is turned on as well as the remaining hours of battery life (green: healthy; amber slow flash: 8 hours remaining; red quick flash: less than 2 hours remaining).

Provides users with a real-time battery-life indication.

With fresh batteries, users can expect at least 25 hours of continuous use when Bluetooth® is being used and 45+ hours without Bluetooth®.

Control Module

Features left and right channel volume controls, a noise cancellation mode switch, a battery-status LED light, a power switch, audio prioritization circuitry and two AA batteries.

The module fits comfortably in users’ hands or can be stored in a pocket or hung using the included hanger or cable clips.
