HENSOLDT SferiRec® LCR 100
Lightweight ED-155 Flight Recorder
One box that records cockpit voice, flight data and video. The SferiRec LCR 100 weighs 1 kg and combines crash-protected memory, data acquisition, an area microphone, a control panel and a quick access recorder, functions that used to need several separate units.
Certified to ETSO-2C197 and ED-155. Compact enough for small aircraft platforms such as small helicopters, business jets and UAVs.

Internal Sensors
GPS, 3-axis gyroscope, 3-axis g-sensor, air pressure sensor and an ED-155 area microphone, so it can record without aircraft sensor feeds.
Quick Access Recorder
SD card slot for flight data, at least 90 hours. Useful for maintenance and flight data monitoring.
STCs Available
EASA STCs exist for the Beechcraft King Air series and the Airbus H135. More platforms, including the Cessna 208 Caravan, are in development.

Recording parameters are set through a configuration file. The integrated control panel provides an event button for marking in-flight events and bulk erase of audio and video data. Image recording uses the Kappa FE 320 LCR cockpit camera, offered with KAPPA Optronics.

The crash protected memory meets ED-155 and exceeds it on several tests.

Installation and STCs
EASA Supplemental Type Certificates for the SferiRec LCR 100 are available through HENSOLDT’s design partners for the Beechcraft King Air series and the Airbus Helicopters H135. Further STCs, including the Cessna 208 Caravan, are in development.
