More than just a transponder 

The L3Harris Lynx NGT-9000 delivers subscription-free weather data, including METARs, AIRMETs, SIGMETs, and NEXRAD graphical displays overlaid on a moving map. The system also displays winds and temperatures aloft at specified altitudes to help improve situational awareness. The NGT-9000 displays real-time NOTAMs and Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) airspace.

NextGen Active Traffic Enablement 

Another exclusive feature to the Lynx NGT-9000+ is L3Harris’ optional NextGen Active Traffic Enablement. The Active Traffic feature is built into the NGT-9000+, eliminating the need for a separate processor. The NGT-9000+ option is useful when flying outside of ADS-B coverage or anywhere the line-of-sight to the ADS-B tower is hindered.  All NGT-9000 models feature L3Harris’ patented Lynx Tail which displays detailed information on surrounding aircraft, including flight ID, ground speed and aircraft classification icon.

L3Harris’ Lynx NGT-9000 provides ADS-B traffic and weather and features its own internal WAAS/GPS. The flexibility of this advanced system includes:

• ARINC 429, RS-232 and RS-422 output for easy interfacing with panel displays
• Wi-Fi capability enables pilots to view ADS-B traffic and weather on iOS® and Android® devices through available apps
• Optional Class B embedded Terrain Awareness Warning System (eTAWS)
• Optional Air Traffic Alerting System (ATAS) provides aural alerting of ADS-B traffic, including the position of intruder aircraft
